And here we go again. Finally, New York-based duo Museum Of Love, the project of former LCD Soundsystem drummer Pat Mahoney and his longtime friend Dennis McNany, aka Jee Day, dropped their eponymous debut album on DFA Records. One of our favorite tracks from that record is “The Who’s Who Of Who Cares”, a great, groove-filled jam that has been on repeat on our car stereo for a while now. This is Museum Of Love at their best. What’s not to love? Museum Of Love’s self-titled debut LP, which also features the pair’s previous singles “Monotronic” and “Down South”, is out now. The Nancy Whang Casablanca Reworks

DFA’s LCD Soundsystem and The Juan MacLean’s iconic vocalist Nancy Whang returns to our ears with her brand-new EP “The Nancy Whang Casablanca Reworks”, a collection of disco reworks of classic tracks from the catalogue of legendary label, Casablanca. For this release, Nancy Whang has teamed up with Etienne de Crécy, Audiojack, Bonar Bradberry, Drop Out Orchestra and The Revenge, to deliver four superb covers of Dennis Parker’s “Like An Eagle”, Donna Summer’s “Working The Midnight Shift”, Kiss’ “I Was Made For Loving You”, and Parliament’s “Flashlight”. New Build: “The Sunlight”

After well over two years since the release of their debut album “Yesterday Was Lived And Lost”, New Build, the London-based trio which consists of Hot Chip’s Al Doyle and Felix Martin along with studio engineer Tom Hopkins, are coming back with a second album entitled “Pour It On”, which will land on October 20th via Sunday Best Recordings. The Juan MacLean: “A Place Called Space”

It’s been a long time coming, but the third full-length album from The Juan MacLean, the duo of John Maclean and Nancy Whang (of LCD Soundsystem fame), will finally drop on September 16th via DFA. Entitled “In A Dream”, the nine-track record follows their last LP, 2009′s “The Future Will Come”. You can now get the first taste of what’s to come via this video for the album’s lead single “A Place Called Space”, an epic eight-plus-minute tune of synth-disco goodness. DFA’s LCD Soundsystem and The Juan MacLean’s iconic vocalist Nancy Whang recently dropped her first solo single, a deliciously playful cover of Dennis Parker’s 1979 disco hit “Like An Eagle”, the result of a collaboration with Leeds-based production duo Audiojack. Give the extended version, which clocks in at just over eight minutes, a spin above.

“Like An Eagle” is the first in a series of four EPs with cover versions of classic tracks from the 70′s for Gomma Records. Keep an eye out for Nancy Whang’s forthcoming covers, produced by Etienne de Crécy, Bonar Bradberry, Drop Out Orchestra and The Revenge. Bring it on!

Here it is! Say hello to LCD Soundsystem’s James Murphy epic 10-minute-plus remix of David Bowie’s “Love Is Lost”. Entitled “Hello Steve Reich Mix by James Murphy for the DFA”, this hypnotic remix with elements of Bowie’s classic “Ashes To Ashes” will appear on “The Next Day Extra”, the extended, three-disc version of his 2013 comeback album “The Next Day”, due on November 4th via Columbia.

The wait is over. Here’s the Anton Corbijn-directed video for Arcade Fire’s glorious, disco-infused track “Reflektor”, the first single from their much-anticipated fourth album of the same name, which was produced by LCD Soundsystem’s James Murphy. And yes, David Bowie has done the backing vocals.

Arcade Fire’s new album “Reflektor” arrives on October 29 via Merge.

Just in case you missed it earlier, check out the amazing interactive video for “Reflektor”, directed by Vincent Morisset, here. Filmed in Jacmel, Haiti, the video follows a “young woman who travels between her world and our own.” The effects used in the video can be controlled with a mouse, tablet, or mobile device. Enjoy!
