We previously heard the silky smooth vibes of “Ghost”, featuring vocals from Patrick Baker, the first single of his upcoming debut album “Rise”, and now San Francisco DJ/producer Daniel Goldstein, aka Lane 8, has shared the video for the track, which was directed by UK collective DEMS. The clip chronicles a crew of bikers torn apart by a love triangle.

In his own words: “To me, ‘Ghost’ is a song about unreturned love, and the feeling of invisibility that can go along with it. We wanted that emotional landscape to be explored in the video and really loved DEMS’ approach. I feel they created something aesthetically rich and textured, while also telling an interesting and relatable story.”

Lane 8’s debut album “Rise” drops on July 17th via Anjunadeep. Pre-order it here.

The 10-track record, as expected, is an “emotional journey across beautiful melodic instrumentals, leftfield pop moments and quirky electronica.” It features vocal contributions from Ghostly International’s Matthew Dear, Solomon Grey, Patrick Baker, among others.

Our first taste from that forthcoming album comes in the form of “Ghost”, featuring the seductive vocals from Nashville vocalist/producer Patrick Baker. It’s a perfectly crafted smooth tune in the vein of his previously released singles, “The One” and “Nothing You Can Say”. You can pre-order the album here.
