About time. Kavinsky is back in the game with his epic new track “RoadGame”. This is the first taste from his upcoming album on Record Makers, which is expected to be released later this year. But enough talk, let’s drive. Fast.
Nicolas Winding Refn’s white knuckle thriller “Drive”, one of our most highly anticipated movies for the rest of the year, gets a proper soundtrack release. The soundtrack features Cliff Martinez’s original score as well as Kavinsky’s “Night Call”, Desire’s “Under Your Spell”, College’s “A Real Hero” (feat. Electric Youth) and Chromatics’ epic track “Tick Of The Clock”, which runs over 15 minutes! The OST will be available digitally on September 6th. SebastiAn: “Embody” [Kavinsky Remix]
Kavinsky’s remix of SebastiAn’s new single “Embody” is out now. Grab your copy here. SebastiAn’s 22-song debut album “Total” drops on May 30th on Ed Banger. The record features guest appearances by M.I.A., Mayer Hawthorne and Gaspard Augé of Justice.

After the remix contest for ‘Nightcall’, Kavinsky has just launched a fan art contest, allowing graphic designers and illustrators to contribute their interpretations of Kavinsky’s zombie universe. 50 illustrations will be chosen from the entrants and included in a limited edition book. The winning design will take pride of place on the front cover.

In other news, Kavinsky is currently putting the final touches on his full-length album, due out in March 2011 via Record Makers. Produced by Guy-Manuel de Homem Christo of Daft Punk.

Kavinsky is striking back with his new 4-track EP ‘Nightcall’ on March 15th on Record Makers. ‘Nightcall’ is the first song Kavinsky provides vocals for, featuring his girlfriend, a.k.a. Lovefoxxx from CSS! The song was produced by Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo (Daft Punk) and mixed by SebastiAN. On the other side, Kavinsky has produced ‘Pacific Coast Highway’, in which we follow a ghostcar on the highway. A full-length album is in the works that will be accompanied by a short film featuring Kavinsky’s Ferrari driving zombie alter ego. Can’t wait!!!
