Glass Candy: “Warm In The Winter”

Love is in the air…We’re warm in the winter. Glass Candy are finally back! The seven-minute epic track “Warm In The Winter” is the first taste from the duo’s upcoming album “Body Work”, due out later this year. The “Warm In The Winter” EP is out today on Italians Do It Better. It also features another brand new song called “Beautiful Object”, as well as instrumental versions of both tracks. We love you.

The EP, entitled “Capricorn Rising”, contains seven tracks and it will be released in April on Italians Do It Better. When Mike Simonetti & Johnny Jewel, the co-founders of Italians Do It Better, had originally posted their mix ‘Albuterol’ online for free it had received over 20.000 downloads, but no one could guess the full tracklist! Last September it was finally released on CD via Perseo, the new sister edit label of Italians Do It Better. Now the mix CD ‘Albuterol’ (named after Simonetti’s asthma medication) is again available as a free download for everyone!

So here it is…the way it was meant to be heard. Fully remastered and ready to download. In one word: Amazing!

Chromatics: ‘Circled Sun’ [mp3]

‘Circled Sun’ is one of the five unreleased bonus tracks on the new deluxe edition of Chromatics’ 2007 imaginary film soundtrack/LP, ‘Night Drive’. Both reissues of ‘Night Drive’ and the 2006 12” single for ‘In the City’, are available on iTunes right now. The band will release a brand new studio album in 2011.
