L.A. producer Shlohmo puts his own spin on Sydney’s beatmaker Flume “Sleepless”, and takes the track in a completely different direction. The result is quite impressive. The single, featuring Jezzabell Doran on vocals, is out now digitally on Future Classic. It also includes a bubbling techno rework by London’s Midland.
In related news, the 20-year old Flume will release his debut self-titled album on November 9. The album features guest vocal contributions by Chet Faker, Moon Holiday, George Mapla, aka Jess from Flight Facilities’ “Foreign Language” single, and Porto Rican LA based MC T.Shirt.
