Following their debut single “Misery Loves Company”, which was released back in November, New Build, aka Hot Chip’s Al Doyle and Felix Martin, along with LCD Soundsystem’s Tom Hopkins, are set to release their new 12” single “Do You Not Feel Loved?”. Out on February 20th on New Build’s own imprint Lanark Recordings, with remixes by Dominik Eulberg and Juju & Jordash. Give it a spin below:

Back in November, we featured New Build’s debut 12” single “Misery Loves Company”, and here’s the b-side “Guitar Man” for your listening pleasure, a gorgeous slow jam which features Pat Mahoney of LCD Soundsystem on drums. The London-based trio of Al Doyle (Hot Chip, LCD Soundsystem) Felix Martin (Hot Chip) and studio engineer Tom Hopkins with special guest appearances from Planningtorock, will release their first full-length album later this year on their own Lanark Recordings imprint.

We already featured “Finding Reasons”, the first taste from New Build, a new London-based band, which featuring Al Doyle (Hot Chip, LCD Soundsystem) Felix Martin (Hot Chip) and studio engineer Tom Hopkins. Now the band is ready to drop their debut 12” single, “Misery Loves Company”, on November 28th via their own Lanark Recordings. The 3-track release will also include the fantastic b-side “Guitar Man” and a remix of “Finding Reasons” by Planningtorock. A full album will be out early next year so keep your eyes peeled. Finding Reasons by newbuild

Check out this brand new jam from New Build, the new project from Hot Chip’s Al Doyle and Felix Martin, and Tom Hopkins who worked with the band on 2010′s album “One Night Stand”. “Finding Reasons”, which features backing vocals from Planningtorock, aka Janice Rostron, is the first cut from the trio’s debut album, due out early 2012.

The Soft Return of Grovesnor

Grovesnor is Rob Smoughton, drummer for Hot Chip and student of the old school who loves a good tune and a crisp rhythm. The self-style ‘troubadour who looks like a teacher but sings like Usher’ will release his debut album ‘Soft Return’ on April 26th via Lo Recordings. The record was produced with the assistance of the ‘Chip’s Felix Martin and Al Doyleon.
