Brooklyn’s Class Actress (once the solo project of singer Elizabeth Harper) debut EP, entitled ‘Journal Of Ardency’ is out today on Grizzly Bear’s Chris Taylor Terrible Records. The band pulls from a variety of styles, ranging from the 80’s synth pop of Depeche Mode and New Order, the vivaciousness and sexuality of early Madonna, and the bubbly heartbreak of Mazzy Star. Yeah, the track ‘Journal Of Ardency’ sounds pretty amazing!

Ξεκινάς μαθήματα υποκριτικής, δεν κάνω πλάκα…Ένα από αγαπημένα μας νέα γκρουπ ακούει στο όνομα Class Actress. Ξεκίνησε ως solo project της Elizabeth Harper. Στην συνέχεια προστέθηκαν δύο φίλοι στην παρέα, τα synth πήραν φωτιά και ήδη τα electro-pop κομμάτια έχουν αναστατώσει τη γειτονιά του Brooklyn – και όχι μόνο. Το ομώνυμο track του πρώτου τους EP “Journal of Ardency” είναι γαμάτο – θα κάνει μέχρι και τους Class Candy να λιώσουν σαν καραμέλες. Πως λέμε love at first listen;
