Apart from being an amazing nu-disco duo, Mustang have never lost their sense of humor. Just a take look at the new press photo: Renaud Deru is training on Andy Faisca, just before they both start…shooting love on the dancefloor. “Shooting Love” – originally from Time Bandits’ 1983 number one hit “I’m Only Shooting Love” – is a killer tune that we first heard during their Mustanglicious DJ set in Athens a few months ago. Now, Mustang will finally release the single on October 17th via Different Recordings, backed with remixes by Canadian singer and producer Jeremy Glenn, who gave the track an 80s sunshine vibe and Black Strobe. More Drop Out Orchestra? Yes, please! They just upload on their SoundCloud page a preview of their new single, called “Ego”. It comes with remixes (take a deep breath) by Black Strobe, Lou Teti, Tronik Youth and the newcomer Second Date from London. In their own words: “It’s one of our favourite songs to play live. We made it straight after coming back from a gig at Solomun’s club Ego in Hamburg, so we decided to call it just that, as a tribute to one of the best clubs we’ve ever seen”. In other news, Arnaud Rebotini will release his new EP “Another Time, Another Place”, in October on his own Blackstrobe Records. The track, a fan favourite of his recent album “Someone Gave Me Religion”, comes complete with a video by Jonathan Barré and remixes by Turzi, Gucci Vump, JBAG, Acid Washed, Mustang, The Subs , Olivier le Castor and Museum.
