Montreal-based, Vancouver-raised producer Patrick Holland brings some serious vibes with his groove-filled jams “Movin’ Out” and “Follow It Up”, two disco-tinged house tunes with a jazz feel. Both tracks are taken from his upcoming debut album “I Want To Believe”, his debut release for the ever-prolific tape label 1080p under his Project Pablo moniker.

Heavily inspired by ultra-real types of smoothness like George Benson, Sade or Steely Dan, the nine-track record is “a blue-tinged walk through Little Italy.” Before the record drops on February 24th, you can download the tracks “Movin’ Out” and “Follow It Up” for free below. It’s just as suitable for home listening as it is for a party. We believe. You can pre-order the album here.

Berlin-based electronic pop songwriter Dan Bodan is one week away from the release of his debut LP “Soft” for DFA, which is said to be a “rose-scented journey through millennial love issues, Soundcloud collage, and post-empire paranoia.” We’ve already heard the singles “Soft As Rain” and “Jaws Of Life”, and now we’ve got another track from that forthcoming album, the insanely beautiful “A Soft Opening”, which was produced by LA/NY experimental pop duo 18+ and Latisha Faulkner.

Dan Bodan’s new album “Soft”, co-produced with Physical Therapy and Renaissance Man’s Ville Haimala, will drop on October 28th via DFA Records. Also, DFA has teamed up with Canadian cassette label 1080p for a limited-edition cassette version of “Soft”, which is now available to pre-order here.
