Soul Clap: “Numb” (feat. Ebony Houston)

Next month, Boston’s Soul Clap will drop their long-awaited second self-titled album, which follows much-loved 2012’s “EFUNK”. The 11-track new record includes a number of wide-ranging collaborators.

We’ve already heard the piano-driven house tune “Shine (This Is It)”, featuring Nona Hendryx, and now they’re sharing another new one called “Numb”. Originally written at George Clinton’s What? Studios in Tallahassee, Florida, “Numb” rides the line between underground pop and modern R&B. The funky tune finds the duo of Eli Goldstein and Charles Levine teaming up with young vocalist and Tallahassee native Ebony Houston.

The “Soul Clap” album drops on October 14th on !K7 Records/Crew Love. Pre-order it here.
