Shine 2009 x Jensen Sportag

One of our favorite new labels Cascine is one year old today. The label dedicated to “alt-pop and experimental electronic music with a major-key bent” was born last September and its first release was Shine 2009’s “Associates” EP. Now, one year later, the imprint has released nine singles/EPs by artists such as Jensen Sportag, Chad Valley and Southern Shores and two full-length albums by Shine 2009 and Brooklyn-based trio Selebrities. Instead of a piece from the birthday cake, we get and share with you Jensen Sportag’s brilliant remix of Shine 2009’s single “So Free”. The future looks bright.
