Róisín Murphy: “Jealousy”

Róisín Murphy: “Jealousy”

After sharing “Gone Fishing”, the first taste from her forthcoming new album “Hairless Toys”, her first solo record in eight years, last month, Irish dance-pop queen and former Moloko singer Róisín Murphy delivers a one-off dancefloor-ready single called “Jealousy” for Damian Lazarus’ Crosstown Rebels label. Recorded specially for Crosstown Rebels and not included on her forthcoming album, “Jealousy” was co-written and produced by legendary Sheffield DJ Parrot, formally of Sweet Exorcist and All Seeing I. The 12” features two versions of the track, a “House mix” and a “Disco mix”. You can now stream both versions right here, right now. Absolute fire!

“Although my album is a rather eclectic affair, this release for Crosstown is one for the purists. I have a deep love for house and disco so this 12″ is strictly for dancing to,” says Róisín. The “Jealousy” 12” will drop on March 16th via Crosstown Rebels. You can pre-order your copy here.
