Project Pablo: “Is It Dry?”

We last heard from Canadian producer Patrick Holland, aka Project Pablo, back in April with the release of his sublime EP “Risk The Rip” on Let’s Play House.

Now, he’s back with his new “Hope You’re Well” EP, a four-track that marks his debut release for Ninja Tune imprint Technicolour. Channeling the big room sound along with the disparate influences of his upbringing, “Hope You’re Well” was written and recorded off-the-road at a studio in Montreal.

“I focused on long form structures,” he explains. “Digital synthesis and clean, hi-fi production was the palette – I strayed from hooks and leaned towards intuitive melodies.” Our first taste from the upcoming EP comes in the form of “Is It Dry?”.
