Phillipi & Rodrigo: “Retrogrado” Video

São Paulo’s Phillipi & Rodrigo, otherwise known as Fatnotronic, are gearing up to release their debut album, entitled “Paciencia” on Soulwax’s label Deewee on February 22.

Described by David and Stephen as sounding as sounding “like Stereolab in 2019 singing in Portuguese while a Batucada band performs at a Brazilian beach techno party”, the record features nine boasting songs about the cosmos, relationships, nostalgia and signs of the Zodiac. The duo’s trippy video for their new single “Retrogrado” takes you on a psychedelic voyage through the galaxy, with Brazilian star Pepita.
