Nile Delta: “Aztec” (12″ Version)

More heat from the talented Nile Delta. Having already wowed us with his debut EP “Channel”/”All This” and the vinyl-only release “Dance To The Rhythm”, the Melbourne-based producer returns to Cut Copy’s own Cutters imprint with his third offering, the “Aztec” EP, and it’s a winner.

The EPs title track is a solid dancefloor jam with hypnotic congas, bubbling acid lines and infectious vocals from John Parkinson of rising Melbourne-based band World’s End Press. Here we have for you the late-night 12” version of “Aztec”, which you can stream above. The release also features another new house track, called “Achilles”, and remixes Plastic Plates and Roland Tings.

Our favorite remix is the vinyl-only rework of “Aztec” from Spanish producer and longtime Talabot collaborator Pional, who transformed the original cut into a piano-driven house anthem.

Nile Delta’s “Aztec” EP is out now digitally. Buy it here.
