Continuous quality from Fort Romeau and Ali Tillett’s ever-growing Cin Cin imprint. The label’s first release of 2017 is a new split 12″ between Dublin’s musician/producer David Kitt, aka New Jackson, and new kid on the bloc Manchester’s Elliott Lion. Following a string of excellent releases on Hivern Discs and Permanent Vacation, New Jackson delivers two brilliantly crafted deep tracks that finds him operating in top form. Here’s the record’s A-side cut, the 10-minute “Electric Blue”, a reimagining of David Bowie’s “Sound And Vision”.
