Next week, Leeds-based producer Miguel Campbell will drop his second album “Night Drive Without You” on his own Outcross Records imprint. Here’s the record’s lead single “Gold Rush”, a smooth and funky tune featuring the vocal talents of Benjamin Diamond, who you may remember from Stardust’s 1988 massive hit “Music Sounds Better With You”. Give it a spin above, and drive slow into the night. The 15-track record, produced in Ibiza, where Miguel Campbell lived for three years, and Leeds, is “built to take listeners on an abstract, heartfelt journey through a mix of house, funk, jazz and disco.” It follows the producer’s 2012 debut album “Back In Flight School” on Hot Creations.
