Brighton-based producer Sam Watts, aka Maxxi Soundsystem, delivers a banger of a tune in the form of “Medicine”, a synth-heavy house burner with a killer bassline as always. The track finds him once again teaming up with vocalist Name One, having previously dropped two singles together, 2012’s massive tune “Regrets We Have No Use For” on Hypercolour and 2013’s “One In Three” on Defected Records. “Medicine” is lifted from Maxxi Soundsystem’s floor-focused EP of the same name, which also features two original tracks, “Fading Thought” and “Lone Raver”. Every time these two collaborate on a record, great things happen.
