Next month, Melbourne’s Kllo, an electronic pop collaboration between Melbourne cousins Chloe Kaul and Simon Lam, will drop their debut album “Backwater” on Ghostly International. Now they’ve shared a beautifully shot new video for their recent single “Downfall”.

“This clip is a gentle journey from the cold urbanscapes of Melbourne city to the golden hues of the sunny coast, Australia,” Kllo says of the video. “It follows Chloe through from a place which she must escape, to a nostalgic place of familiarity. We end in a burning sugar field, which is symbolic of those hostile feelings to be released.”
