Los Angeles-based duo Kisses, comprised of Jesse Kivel and Zinzi Edmundson, goes disco with “A Groove”, the superb first single from their forthcoming third album “Rest In Paradise”. Set to arrive on October 9 via Hit City USA, the new record follows 2013’s album “Kids In LA” on Cascine and is said to mark a “new chapter” for Kisses. The “Rest In Paradise” LP, a record with full live instrumentation, was recorded in New York with the backing of Brooklyn’s disco ensemble Midnight Magic. Infectiously groovy and funky, the duo’s new single “A Groove” is a “patient song that builds to a dynamic ending” and it’s so damn good. Welcome back, Kisses.
