Hot on the heels of his solid collaborative EP “Never Again” with London’s Chaos in the CBD on Needwant, Los Angeles house producer Taylor Freels, aka Urulu, who recently moved to London, delivers this quality re-interpretation of one of his favorite Weeknd tracks, “Twenty Eight”.

Swedish producer Dan Lissvik lends his magic hands to Sally Shapiro’s “If It Doesn’t Rain”. This rather beautiful remix will appear on Sally Shapiro’s upcoming remix album “Elsewhere”, which features reworks of tracks from the duo’s recently released full-length “Somewhere Else” by likes of The Field, Young Galaxy, Little Boots, Nite Jewel, Henning Fürst, and more. The second release on Justin Miller’s new label, HAKT Recordings comes from rising Brooklyn-based producer and musician John Camp, who you may remember from his contribution on No Regular Play’s 2012 debut album “Endangered Species”, and his collaboration with Michael Christopher on “No More Time”.

The standout cut from his great debut solo EP “Credit Default Swap” is “All Ya Gotta Do”, an infectious funky jam, which features the soulful vocals from guest singer Mr. Reed. The release also includes three new original tracks full of late-night R&B vibes and deep house grooves that’s well worth checking out. You can stream the whole thing here.

A few days ago, our favorite LA duo Classixx, Michael David and Tyler Blake, finally dropped their debut album “Hanging Gardens” and it’s definitely worth the long wait! For us, this great album is a one-way ticket to sunny California and will certainly get some serious rotations on the road this summer.

And if that’s not enough, Classixx just shared a non-LP track, called “Valley Vacation”, a sun-kissed summery jam for your next road trip. As we read, this track is a “reference to their late-night escape from their old studio, nestled in the seedy heart of L.A.’s porn industry, to their current Venice beach sanctuary”.

Infinity Ink: “Aya”

London-based Infinity Ink, the duo of Luca C and Ali Love, who already wowed us with their dancefloor anthem “Infinity” last year, are back with a generous offer, giving away a new track, called “Aya”, for free download.

In their own words: “We went and did a few Ayahuasca rituals in Brazil in the jungle together and when we got back we wrote this very cosmic track. It’s kind of psychedelic, but then it’s got the slightly rude kind of garage. It’s like cosmic garage.” Infinity Ink, also members of the deep house band Hot Natured, are currently working on their debut album. In the meantime, grab “Aya” for free below and enjoy.

Norwegian producer Andre Bratten, who shares the central Oslo studio space with Lindstrøm and Todd Terje, recently dropped his debut LP “Be A Man You Ant” on Prins Thomas’ Full Pupp label. It’s a great album from start to finish, filled with analog melodies, bright drum machine splats, and space disco grooves. For this record he used only a drum machine and a single modular synthesizer.

Here, we have “Aegis”, one of the album’s finest moments, that has been on repeat in our car stereo for a while now. Give it a spin below.
