2013 has been a big year for Northern Irishman Ejeca, aka Garry McCartney. Following the release of his piano-led summer anthem “Rosario” on Loft Records and a series of quality remixes for Eli & Fur, Unknown, and Bloc Party, just to name a few, the unstoppable producer brings more heat with his latest offering, the four-track EP “Together”, his second release on London-based label Needwant after last year’s solid EP “Horizon”.
The EPs title track finds the man crafting yet another big tune for the dancefloor, a vocal-driven house gem with delicious piano keys and deep, old-school garage vibes. Of course, we’d expect nothing less from Ejeca. The release also includes a remix from Detroit house maestro Terrence Parker, a special ‘Night Edit’ of “Horizon” from Ejeca himself, and one more original tune, “Forest”, which shows off his deeper side.
