With two independent single releases (“Counterpoint”, “This Momentary”) under their belt, Delphic are set to release their debut album “Acolyte” on January 11, 2010 via Polydor. The much-hyped Manchester trio recorded the 10-track album in producer Ewan Pearson, at Pearson’s studio in Berlin. “It’s not rave. There may be references to 90s dance music but we also love Bjork, Radiohead, Kraftwerk and, at the other end of the spectrum, Xenomania”, proffers the band’s Rick. Delphic has nothing to do with ancient Greece, but they wrote a song with a greek name, called “Ephemera”!
