Following his eight-track EP “Music For Objects”, released last month, prolific Montreal producer CFCF, aka Mike Silver, returns with his new single “Jump Out Of The Train”, the first taste from his upcoming new album “Outside”. You can now listen to the six-plus-minute atmospheric piece above, which features Active Child on backing vocals.
“Outside”, his first full-length LP since 2009’s excellent “Continent”, will be released on October 21 via Paper Bag Records/Dummy. According to the label, “many of the tracks were written while he was traveling on buses and trains, usually between Montreal, New York or Toronto, and the music reflects the yearning for stability that comes from constant movement, as well as the fascination with the inherent beauty of new environments.”
