After sharing news of their forthcoming third album “Basic Colour Theory” and first taste, the Eglė Sirvydytė-featuring “Good Touch”, last month, Polish house duo Catz ‘N Dogz have dropped the record’s first single called “From Your Heart”. Featuring Swedish indie-pop trio Peter, Bjorn & John, “From Your Heart” is a slow-grooving tune with smooth vibes, vocoded vocals and just the right amount of saxophone. It’s just one more reason to get excited about “Basic Colour Theory”, set to drop on May 19th via their own Pets Recordings imprint.

The “From Your Heart” EP, which also features “Nobody Cares” and non-album track “Parallel Problems”, will drop on March 30th.

Having previously operated under the moniker Das Moth, the now Germany-based Australian producer/DJ Tim Sullivan returns as This Soft Machine, a “band at heart”, as he says. Next month, This Soft Machine will finally drop his superb debut EP, consisting of two tracks, “On & On” and “This Place Was Meant For Me”, which marks his first release on Eskimo Recordings. Our first taste of that forthcoming EP comes in the form of “On & On”, a perfectly crafted disco-infused tune that showcases his elegant style. On this track, Dan Whitford (of Cut Copy fame) helped with recording the synthesizers, Dave Harrington, one half of Darkside, played the electric guitar, while Lorraine Nicholson contributed vocals. It’s definitely worth a few spins. Blast it above.
