We’ve already heard and saw the video for Bristol’s R&B singer/songwriter Javeon great soulful house track “Intoxicated”, which was produced by Julio Bashmore. And now we’ve got our hands on a new remix of the track from the mighty Belgian producer The Magician. Once again, The Magician has worked his magic in turning “Intoxicated” into a warm piece of classy house music.

The remix will drop on May 18th via PMR Records. Keep your eyes peeled for Javeon’s forthcoming debut album, “Mercy”, which will arrive later this year.

Washington, D.C. synth-pop band Brett first caught our attention all the way back in 2011 with their superb debut double A-side single “Confidence” / “Kate Moss”. Freshly signed to Cascine, Brett are now gearing up for the release of their debut self-titled album, which is out on May 20th. Here’s the album’s first single, “Chalon”, a perfectly crafted track with warm synth melodies, hazy guitars, and airy vocals. This one is for the late nights, early mornings and everything in between. Give it a spin above, and drive slow.

It’s not everyday that we hear a new remix from Cut Copy. After sharing a new track called “In These Arms Of Love” for Record Store Day, Cut Copy return with this great remix of fellow Australians Jagwar Ma’s latest single “Uncertainty” that clocks in at almost nine minutes. This remix appears on the duo’s new “Uncertainty” EP, which also features reworks by the likes of Ewan Pearson, MssingNo, and Charles Murdoch. The EP is out now digitally via Mom + Pop. Hailing from Istanbul, Paradisko is a fresh new production duo comprised of producer/DJ Thousand Fingers, aka Hakan Özkan, and filmmaker/DJ Hemi, who love disco, house, palm trees and pizza. Paradisko just dropped their bubbly, piano-laced debut single “Chewing Gun” via On The Fruit Records, which comes complete with three fine remixes by the likes of Xinobi, Mighty Mouse and Digits.

HOnce again, Portuguese producer Bruno Cardoso, aka Xinobi, has done a fantastic job remixing Paradisko’s “Chewing Gun”, by adding his signature touch. Give this spacey remix a spin or two above, and make sure to check out the delicious original version below.

French electro duo Principles Of Geometry, aka Guillaume Grosso and Jeremy Duval, make a welcome return with their great new single “Streamsters”, a collaborative track with the Alessi Brothers, the twin brother duo best known for their 1984 hit “Savin’ the Day” that was featured on the Ghostbusters soundtrack. “Streamsters” is the first taste from the pair’s upcoming fourth album “Meanstream”, which follows 2012′s “Burn the Land & Boil the Oceans”. The single is out now, backed with two remixes by Boston producer/DJ Tanner Ross, and Night Slugs co-boss L-Vis 1990.

The album “Meanstream” will drop on April 28th via Joakim’s label, Tigersushi Records.

Rush Midnight: “Closer” Video

Back in February, we featured “In Your Room”, produced by Jesse F. Keeler of Death From Above 1979, and now Brooklyn’s Rush Midnight, the solo project from former Twin Shadow bassist Russ Manning, has unveiled the video for his second single “Closer”, which features Cher Noble, aka James Smith. “Closer” will appear on his forthcoming self-titled debut LP, which will arrive on May 17th via Last Gang Records. Check it out.
