Canadian-born, Berlin-based electronic pop singer-songwriter Dan Bodan, who first wowed us with his excellent 2012 single “DP” b/w “Aaron” for DFA, is now set to release his debut LP, entitled “Soft”, for the label in October. And to whet our appetites in the meantime, Dan Bodan has shared the forthcoming record’s first single, the Great Skin-produced “Soft As Rain”, a song about “sex, cleansing, and finding new love.” With its lush synth tones and Bodan’s crooning vocals, “Soft As Rain” is a sleek slice of electro-pop for loose, romantic, wistful moments. It’s definitely worth checking out.
