Say hello to Melbourne newcomer Joseph Cookson, who produces quality house music under his moniker Amateur Dance. Little is known about this young producer, but he caught our attention recently with his debut EP “Keep It Up”, a two-track offering that really marks Amateur Dance as one to watch.

The record’s a-side, “Still Amateur”, a fine piece of playful house with a simple-but-effective vocal sample, has been on repeat on our car stereo for a while now, and it’s definitely a good thing for your ears. Despite what his name may imply, Amateur Dance deserves your full attention. Can’t wait to hear more from this guy.

Amateur Dance’s debut EP “Keep It Up” is now available to purchase via his Bandcamp.
