Tom Croose: “Cho Chua”

Here’s an absolutely stunning edit of Tom Croose, one half of NY’s duo Worst Friends, whom you may remember from his killer edit of Fleetwood Mac’s “Never Going Back Again”. The New York producer just released this rework of Caetano Veloso & Gilberto Gil’s “Cada Macaco No Seu Galho (Cho Chua)” on new label Resista. Yes, it’s so hard to resist.

Runaway: “Chapter IV”

Summer’s not over yet! Can’t get enough of “Chapter IV” by Brooklyn’s Jacques Renault and Marcos Cabral, aka Runaway. This tune has been on repeat in our gas stereo the last weeks. Taken from their “Stories” EP, the duo’s first new material since last year’s “Broken Man” EP, out now digitally on their own On The Prowl imprint. It’s taken from the 3rd volume in Justin Vandervolgen’s (of TBD, !!!, and Outhud fame) “Try To Find Me” series on cult NYC label Golf Channel Recordings. Already featured on Tiger and Woods’ killer Mix for Beats In Space. “I just can’t seem to end it…”.
