Back in September, French electro-funk producer Breakbot dropped “Back For More”, the first taste from his forthcoming sophomore album “Still Waters”. Today, he’s shared the video for the album’s lead single “Get Lost”, a delicious funky jam featuring vocals from longtime collaborator Irfane. The video was directed by Dent de Cuir, the Paris-via-Montreal filmmaking duo of Jean-Philippe Chartrand and Benjamin Mege.
Breakbot’s new album “Still Waters”, the follow-up to 2012’s excellent debut album “By Your Side”, will arrive on February 5th on Ed Banger Records. “The inspirations of this new album swing between Californian music from the ’70s and ’80s and disco-funk – from Curtis Mayfield to Prince and Michael Jackson,” says Breakbot.
