The first official release from Blood Orange, aka Dev Hynes (who also records as Lightspeed Champion), was the “Dinner” 7″ (grab it here) release on Grizzly Bear’s Chris Taylor Terrible Records. Now Blood Orange has announced that he will release his debut album “Coastal Grooves” on August 8th via Domino Records. Two 12″s of remixes will be made available upfront of the album release. Remix Part 1will be released on June 6th featuring remixes by In Flagranti and Krystal Klear. Remix Part 2 follows on the July 11th with reworkings by Bottin and Bicep. Pre-order Remix Part 1 here.
