Ben Browning: “Friends Of Mine (Cooper Saver Remix)”

Is it Friday already? So excited for our “Late Summer” compilation Vol.5, which will drop on September 18th as a free download. After sharing Klaves’ superb disco edit of McFadden & Whitehead’s classic “Ain’t No Stoppin’ Us Now” last week, today we’re delighted to bring you a second taste from our upcoming compilation. And it’s yet another exclusive track.

Get your ears wrapped around this unreleased remix of Cut Copy’s bassist Ben Browning much loved single “Friends Of Mine” by Los Angeles-based producer/DJ Cooper Saver, the man behind the Far Away parties and mixtape series. On his remix, Cooper Saver infuses Ben Browning’s track with an extra dose of synths, delivering a deliciously summertime jam. What’s not to love? The original track is taken from Ben Browning’s recent debut album “Turns”, out now via Yellow Year Records.

As per usual, this year’s “Late Summer” compilation Vol. 5 features lots of exclusive tunes, including previously unreleased tracks from some of our favorite producers, as well as much-loved gems available as a free download for the first time. Be sure to keep your eyes peeled for more news on the release of our upcoming compilation.
