It’s always a good day when a new track from Vampire Weekend’s bassist Chris Baio comes to our station. Having already wowed us with his sublime EPs “Sunburn” on Greco-Roman and “Mira” on Future Classic of all things tropical house and summery, the now London-based producer returns with a new solo EP “On&On&On&On”/”Missive”, his first release on Modular’s dance-oriented sublabel Club Mod, under his DJ name, simply Baio. Today, we’ve got our hands on the record’s lead single “On&On&On&On”, which finds Baio at his very best. Bright and bouncy, with plenty of tropical vibes and sun-kissed melodies, “On&On&On&On” is a great tune that rewards repeat listens. Blast it on your car stereo to extend this summer to eternity.
