La.Ga.Sta.’s favourite Bot’Ox (Benjamin Boguet, the half of Tekel and the whole of Cosmo Vitelli and Julien Briffar) re-released their amazing single ‘Blue Steel’, complete with new remixes from DFA’s Still Going, Para One & Tacteel, I:Cube, Hannulelauri and a bonus instrumental version from Azari & III. Their long-awaited debut LP ‘Babylon By Car’ is coming out on October 25th via I’m A Cliché and features some of the band past tunes and a lot of unreleased material. Until then, Bot’Ox are Still Going. Vrooommmm!

Our favourite new band is Freedom Or Death from Canada. Taking their name from the war cry of the people of Greece during the 1820 Greek War of Independence, the Toronto-based electro/soul duo released their brilliant self-titled EP (buy it here). Their eclectic sound is based in everything, acoustic folk, electronica, traditional rock, hip-hop rhythms yet always rooted in lyrics with substance. In their words: “We decided we wanted to make music that we would like to listen to, regardless if it gets played on the radio or not.” Today, we share two Freedom Or Death tracks with you and a video. So, here’s the amazing song ‘This Crowded Room’ and their cover of Pink’s ‘Sober’. Yes, freedom is on a road trip.

The Glass are Plant Music’s founder Dominique Keegan and Glen Brady, aka DJ Wool. The duo made the first ever release on Plant in 2004 with ‘Won’t Bother Me’. They have released many singles since then, including last year’s summer smash ‘Wanna Be Dancin’”. Now, The Glass have announced the release of their debut album, ‘At Swim Two Birds’, out on November 16th via Plant Music. The album is both an electronic and pop record and will be preceded by the new single ‘Four Four Letter’. It’s pretty tasty.

After a number of singles dating back to 2008 and the release of their album, ‘«∞»’, synth-disco trio 7he Myriads from St. Petersburg, Russia are set to release 2 EP’s on Aussie label Lightspeed Recordings. The first EP, entitled ‘Running Man’, contains 3 original tracks and 2 remixes from French producer Oliver DAX (Dax Riders) and fellow-Russian Moonoton (Permanent Vacation).
