Andy Butler Launches New Label

“I don’t want anything that sounds pre ’85 or post ’94″. Andy Butler, the mastermind behind Hercules & Love Affair has launched a new record label. It’s called Mr.Intl and draws inspiration from the early days of house and techno. The label’s first single, ‘And I’m (So In Love With You)’, is a collaboration between Butler and SF-via-Detroit house DJ Jason Kendig and it was recorded on 1992-vintage equipment. The release comes with remixes from Bulgarian producer Kink and Sweden’s Deetron. Here’s the seven-minute house jam ‘And I’m (So In Love With You)’. Get into the groove…

A woman-eating car stars in this new creepy video for the track ’18 Hours (Of Love)’ by Finnish Kraut-funkers K-X-P. It’s taken from their self-titled debut album, out now on Smalltown Supersound. The three-piece outfit is led by Timo Kaukolampi who made a name for himself as Norwegian pop princess Annie’s main producer and co-writer.
