Meet Mirrors: Κάτι τρέχει με τους Mirrors εκεί έξω και καλό είναι να δώσεις βάση από τώρα. Τα τέσσερα τυπάκια μας έρχονται από το Brighton, τα τραγούδια τους αντικατοπτρίζουν τις pop-noir διαθέσεις τους, ενώ οι ίδιοι αποκαλούν τον ήχο τους electronic soul. Κάποιοι ήδη μιλούν για τη νέα ήρεμη δύναμη της Βρετανικής σκηνής. Θα δείξει. Για την ώρα το ντεμπούτο σινγκλάκι τους μόνο απαρατήρητο δεν πέρασε. Είναι από εκείνα τα κομμάτια που στριφογυρίζουν συνέχεια στο μυαλό σου και σε κάνουν να ξεφύγεις έστω για λίγο από όσα σου έχουν κάνει τα νεύρα τσατάλια τις τελευταίες ημέρες: ένα σκασμένο λάστιχο, ένα πρόστιμο 80 ευρώ για παράνομο παρκάρισμα, ένας ακόμη ηλίθιος ταξιτζής, μια μετακόμιση-μπλογκμπάστερ, μια χαλασμένη ψύκτρα στο PC που μόνο αθόρυβη δεν τη λες και ένας έρωτας που αποσυνδέθηκε από το Skype. Σε βλέπω να το σιγοτραγουδάς μπροστά στον καθρέφτη. Καλό θα σου κάνει.

zwicker Πουλολούλουδο! Βγάζει μάτι!

O Ελβετός μουσικός και παραγωγός Cyril Boehler είναι ο άνθρωπος μας πίσω από το project που ακούει στο όνομα Zwicker. Γνωστός στη ηλεκτρονική μουσική σκηνή της χώρας του έχει γράφει μουσική σε ταινίες, έχει αναλάβει δεκάδες παραγωγές και δεν σταματά να ονειρεύεται. Πιο σωστά ονειρεύεται με τα μάτια ανοιχτά. Ακριβώς αυτό είναι και το ντεμπούτο album του Zwicker γεμάτο electro κομμάτια φτιαγμένα από όνειρα. Το “Songs Of Lucid Dreamers” κυκλοφόρησε πριν λίγους μήνες (συμμετέχει μέχρι και ο Matt Didemus των Junior Boys) και τώρα που αρχίσαμε να βλέπουμε εφιάλτες ξορκίζουμε το κακό με τα μελωδικά τραγούδια του Zwicker. Πλέον ονειρευόμαστε με τα μάτια ανοιχτά. Άσχετο, θα μου πει τελικά κανείς ποιός είμαι;
