Όταν δεν ζωγραφίζει ο αμερικανός καλλιτέχνης Sebastian Blanck (πρώην μέλος των Black Dice), γράφει τραγούδια στο ατελιέ του. Κάπως έτσι, φαντάζομαι, προέκυψε και η φολκ μπαλάντα “Thunder”, ένα ντουέτο με την Caroline Polachek των Chairlift, που μοιάζει να βγήκε μέσα από τους πίνακες του.

Έτσι μας συστήνει η Sincerely Yours το ντεμπούτο album του Σουηδού Avner (τι φυσιογνωμία κι αυτή!) που ακούγοντας το μπορεί να μην κόψεις τις φλέβες σου, έχεις όμως 2 σούπερ κομμάτια που μπορεί και να τις κόψεις (άουτς!). Αφού λιώσαμε το Bed för Mig, τώρα έχουμε πάθει πλάκα με το “Känslor” – την δική του εκδοχή στο υπέροχο “Some Things Last A Long Time” του folk τροβαδούρου Daniel Johnston (respect) που θα μπορούσε να είχε γράψει ο Neil Young σε ανύποπτο χρόνο. Ο Αvner τραγουδάει μόνο στα Σουηδικά, διαθέτει φωνάρα, φοράει ρούχα που δεν τον φοράνε και βάφει το πρόσωπο του με…ηλιαχτίδες. Κανένα πρόβλημα. Άνοιξε το παράθυρο να μπει λίγο φως…

Μάλλον εσύ κάτι κάνεις λάθος (πρόσεξε το λιγάκι) γιατί την technicolor Λονδρέζα Ebony Bones και την παρέα της μια χαρά τους βλέπω – έχουν πιάσει το νόημα για τα καλά. Μπορείς να πεις ότι παίζουν κάτι μεταξύ post punk, rock, pop και tropical ή οτιδήποτε άλλο και ότι το έχουν παρακάνει λίγο με το χρώμα, άλλα καθόλου δεν μας πειράζει, αφού όπως λένε: “We’re never gonna survive unless we get a little crazy…”. Νομίζω πως μόλις ο Τάσος βρήκε στο πρόσωπο της Miss Bones την δίδυμη αδελφή του και βάζω στοίχημα ότι θα “σπάσουν”  κόκκαλα  από το κούνημα όταν εμφανιστούν στις 12 Ιουνίου στο Synch! To ντεμπούτο τους album δεν το έχω ακούσει ακόμη, πάντως το νέο single, “Τhe Muzik”, τα σπάει. Και κόκκαλα. Και καρέκλες. Και κεφάλια!
